Born and raised in California, Natasha’s journey into higher education was fueled by a love for problem-solving and analytical thinking. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Industrial and Systems Engineering, followed by a master’s degree in Health Systems. Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Natasha is an avid traveler and hiking enthusiast, embracing the same curiosity and sense of adventure in her personal life as she does in her teaching.

A Message from Dean Steven Balke
“Natasha Celestin has been an outstanding faculty member with NAU for nearly 12 years. During that time, she focused primarily on teaching courses in our Health Management programs. However, upon enthusiastic recommendation, I approached her one year ago to assume responsibility for curriculum development activities across NAU’s Business, Accounting, Technology, and Health Management programs.
I am truly grateful that Natasha eagerly accepted the additional duties, as she has proven to be as effective as we expected. Her quick grasp of processes, attention to rigor and detail, and infectious positivity have all added to the success that she has brought to the role. She is also a consummate team player and, over the past year, has significantly increased the value that she has contributed to NAU.
I appreciate the opportunity to recognize Natasha’s latest contributions to our success and sincerely look forward to the great work that she will continue doing over the coming years. Thank you!”
