You talk the talk – but can you walk the walk?

I guess this is where they say…”You talk the talk – but can you walk the walk?”  I have always known what greatness NAU and my medical assisting program have to offer but just recently have had the opportunity to show myself, our community, and our newest addition of students.
With the closing of Wright Career College, several of their students found themselves lost with so much of their education completed, yet no degree.  NAU has offered these students the opportunity to finish their educational experience, so they can start their dream career.

Five of those students just joined the MA program here in the Kansas City area.  These ladies have been pushed, pulled and tested to show their level of education and skills.

While I was doing their competency check-offs, they were testing my skills, knowledge, and experience as well – and I can say that I am very proud of these young ladies, NAU and myself. At this point, all six of us have not only met the challenge, we have completed 80% of the challenge with flying colors.
